The power of local Latinx entrepreneurs and business owners will be in full force during a networking event called Reunión Empresarial organized by Fuerza Local and Novle, Community Activators.

Fuerza Local and Novle host Reunion Empresarial

Novle and Fuerza Local are hosting a Réunion Empresarial for May the 18th from 6-8 PM at Novle offices.

The networking event will take place May 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Novle’s offices. The address for Novle is 1300 E. Missouri Ave. in Phoenix.

Experts say networking events are essential for professionals and business owners alike. The informal and cordial events help make connections that may bring opportunities for entrepreneurs. What is Fuerza Local?

Fuerza Local is the Latinx version of Local First Arizona, a non-profit organization that works to strengthen local communities and economies. Local First Arizona is a community and economic development organization that works for the support, maintenance, and celebration of local businesses throughout Arizona.

The non-profit organizes the general public’s support for local businesses, so the revenues and the community benefits stay local.

Fuerza Local has a significant role in creating and supporting new Latinx entrepreneurs creating and developing new businesses. Fuerza Local programs offered are Business Accelerator, Executive Level Training, Networking, and Dining for Dreams.

In Dining for Dreams, Local First showcases the chefs, restaurateurs, and food entrepreneurs graduating from the Fuerza Local Acelerador de Negocios Program. This dinner event spotlights four recent graduates, their cuisine, their culinary collaboration with a 3-course dinner paired with exquisite wines and freshly made beverages.

The Business Accelerator Program and the Executive Level Traning offer education and assistance to business owners. From creating and developing a business idea, all the know-how to start or improve a business to the education necessary to help the company grow.

In 2021 97 small businesses entered the Fuerza Local Accelerator Program
According to a Fuerza Local’s 2021 Report, Accelerator Program graduates had created more than 960 new jobs.

The areas of more business creation among members are retail, food/restaurant/catering, personal services, and construction.

61% of those expanded their business operations, and 13% registered as vendors with local governments.
